An absolutely stunning Gau box from Tibet. The back of the box opens up to hold incantations and treasures. Classically a Gau box would be worn as a protective amulet around the neck. (sold without the chain). Lush coral and aged turquoise really make this piece pop against the elaborate filigree. One corner of the coral appears damaged.
